Im going to start this with two statements.
Crisis makes believers and Todays Gods are tomorrow's Devils.
Why such accusatory statements? Because we have reached a point where the state has begun to assert itself as the new God and hero and has declared the old ones dead.
This is nothing new but it is absolutely necessary in order to bring about the new world created in their(?) image where the word of these so called leaders and self proclaimed saviors is gospel truth and anyone who speaks out against it is a heretic to be burned at the stake.
We just underwent three years of crisis that was , for the most part, avertable but instead the litanies of fear were intoned and repeated often as new "idols" arose and placed themselves on pedestals for all the world to bow down to and worship. Unquestionable and so we were told, infallible and anything that questioned this new gospel was met with the full force of the new state to eradicate it and defrock those that spread this heretical disinformation(though later much of it was found not to be disinformation whatsoever). Told not to take a proven drug and accept the sacrament of the experimental one and then all true believers would be spared and life could continue on as it had been and those that didnt want to follow along should be put to death or rounded up and put in camps.(Any of that sound like something we might have heard about before at another period in history) Only none of that was true. We were told to stay inside, watch the indoctrination box and have no contact with family and friends all while encouraging the "protests" and that the specter of racism was the true virus all the while self proclaimed leaders and experts were having a grand old time at get togethers and holiday parties dividing once healthy homes and communities with fiery propaganda the likes of which Mussolini, Stalin and Hitler would have been proud of.
True believers were made and the new church of state science was born with fauci and gates as the patron saints.
What we saw was nothing less than a ritual, the new catechism for a new epoch. Stoking old fires and fears to a new level where we found people begging the system for a savior and the State was more than willing to be just that but at a cost that is still being calculated.
